So, here's basically some of the things I'd love to be wearing right now. Summer went by a LOT faster than I would've thought/hoped so, BUT let's just stay positive and embrace all of the lovely things the upcoming season has in store for us. For me that means rich and intense color palette including tones like rust, navy blue, khaki green, camel, deep red, plum and burgundy, layering with capes & (sleeveless) jackets, accessorizing with hats + bags & boots in reptile pattern, and of course the still ongoing '70s trend with fringes, bell sleeves and wide legged pants. 

Now I'd like to know, which Fall trends are YOU guys most excited about?? :))

Mukana myös monia tulevan kauden hittejä, joihin lukeutuvat muun muassa edelleen vahvat 70-luvun vaikutteet hapsuineen, liehuhihoineen ja -lahkeineen, kerrospukeutuminen, viitat ja liivit, a-linjaiset minimekot ja -hameet, sekä hatut, huivit ja (ylipolven)saappaat asustepuolella. Väripalettia hallitsevat ne melkeinpä jokasyksyiset syvät ja täyteläiset luumu ja viininpunainen, ruskean eri sävyt kamelinbeigestä ruosteeseen, laivastonsininen ja khakinvihreä. Matskuissahan mokka on edelleen supertrendikäs, mutta tutut nahka ja denim eivätpä nekään juuri näytä minnekään väistyvän. Meikä on kyllä suhteellisen innoissaan kaikesta edellämainitusta, mutta kesän päättyminen vaatiikin sitten vähän enemmän sulattelua...

Mutta hei mua kiinnostaisi nyt tietää, mitkäs on teitin alkavan kauden trendi-/ostostärpit? :))

A lil' different set of pics again! What do you guys think of this kinda editing style? I'm still quite indecisive of whether I like it more neutral & 'softer' or more creative and artistic like this. Hmm, think I'll carry on keeping them both for now and we'll see how it goes from there...:-)

So, a kimono has definitely been a real must-have garment of the summer 2015. Along with jumpsuits and playsuits of course! Definitely haven't taken enough outfit pics featuring either of them!! So I better get my act together now before it's too late and it'll be too COLD to wear ANYTHING fun! Aaaaaargh!! Summer, I'm so NOT done with you yet, so don't you dare to go anywheeeeeere!!

/Doddiih, semmonen setti kuvia! Mitäs muuten tykkäätte tällaisesta hieman vahvemmasta ja luovemmasta editointijäljestä? Mä en oikein osaa ite meinaan päättää, kallistunko enemmän tämän vai sen tutun neutraalimman ja 'pehmeämmän' tyylin puoleen...Pidänpä siis ainakin nyt näin toistaseksi molemmat ja katotaan mihin päin homma lähtee kehittymään...:-)

Mutta siis, KIMONO. Siinä kyllä ehdottomasti yksi tän kesän vahvimmista, ellei jopa vahvin, must have-vaatekappale. Kaikenmoiset haalarisysteemit tuleekin sitten hyvänä kakkosena. Ja mä olen nyt kyllä sitä mieltä, että molempia on näkynyt täällä bloggerssonin puolella aaaaivan liian vähän...Mutta ehkä vielä ehtii skarpata?! Kesä, tää peli EI OLE vielä menetetty GOD DAMMIT!!

If there ever was a right time to channel your inner peace-loving hippie alter ego, it would be THIS summer. Seems like the fashion world has gone a lil' cray cray over this boho business and so every high street store is well equipped with fringes, lace, crochet, floral prints, flare pants and flowy wide sleeved dresses & shirts. And yes, as you can see I've had my fair share of them already haha. I don't usually go for really bohemian looks but now that I'm already going through some more or less drastic life changes, I thought that eh, why not try new things with my style as well? Just rooting for those WARMER summer days (where are theeeeyyyy???) still before the little flower child in me can be awoken from its longish winter nap. 

/Hippihapsut, pitsi, virkatut kankaat, trumpettihihat ja -lahkeet, mitä näitä muodin kartalla kuumana kihisevään bohovillitykseen kuuluvia elementtejä nyt keksiikään. Noh, kuten kuvasta näkyy, on se meikänkin sisäinen kukkaislapsi sen verran vironnut talviuniltaan, että muutama 'hippihuitula' päässyt tässä kevään aikana kaappiin eksymään. Nyt sitten vähän niinku ootellaan, että päästäis nauttimaan siitä kesästä. Ja pieni brunakin ois tietty ihan kiva. 

Mites teillä, iskeekö tämmönen bohoilumeininki noin ylipäätään? Mä sanoisin, että kesäkuukausina kohtuullisissa määrin annosteltuna erittäinkin jepa!

THEM CUT-OUTS

Different kinds of 'peeking holes' and cut-outs have definitely been one of the biggest trends at least a few years now and this season wasn't an exception. Actually, the trend was maybe more prominent than ever and I gotta tell ya, I'm totally HOOKED. I think these kinda details bring easily more interest to the garment and they're also a very tasteful and stylish way of showing a little fleshhh. 

Sadly the season for wearing this kinda style is so short in Finland...so better start right away when the weather is showing its first signs of the approaching SUMMER, WHOOOP! I ordered the black one from Asos and it arrived a couple of days ago. It's pretty damn perfection, hope I'll get to show it on the blog soon as well! Keeping my fingers crossed for that nice & warm weather!! :)

COMING UP IN A/W 2015

Good evening there,

Soooo here's a bunch of photos I took on the press day at Miltton Showroom last week. I knoooow, I'm a little late with these ones but couldn't get this post done earlier due to the circumstances. Anywhooo, me and my fellow blogger gal Sara went to check out the new lines and products which will hit the stores next season. Brands included Björn Borg, Puma, Glitter, Monki, Nespresso, Fazer, R/H and Adidas among others. I was especially delighted about the amount of sports brands represented and their crazy colorful gear definitely made me miss the gym where I sadly haven't spent that much time lately...Oh well, doesn't stop you from wearing the clothes though, hha!

Unfortunately, since it was pouring with rain that day, we didn't get the chance to take any outfit pics as we had planned. But NOT TO WORRY, my sis came and saved the day (well, actually it was ME who went to see her) and took some shots of the same look later on the weekend! So hooraaayyyy, OOTD coming up next!

THE JACKET FOR SUMMER

Aah, doesn't this look just make you wanna invest in a sleeveless duster so baaaad?? Lately been seeing more and more of them in awesome outfit combos. Hmm, dunno why I haven't realized its comfort and convenience factor before O__o It's like a summer version of a classic fall piece, the trench, but with better ventilation, haha! It's also surprisingly versatile, going great together with short and long bottoms AND with dresses of different lengths as well. 

What are your thoughts on this one?? I think I'm pretty much SOLD >:D

H&M LOVES COACHELLA/STUDIO SS 2015

Good evening errbody.

Last week I stopped by at H&M Showroom to check out a little preview of what they've got in store for us this Spring and Summer. 

Fringes, graphic prints, lots of lace, crop tops, some more fringes, shorts and wide leg pants all with a romantic bohemian '70s twist; that pretty much sums up the upcoming H&M Loves Coachella-collection which gives its own fresh take on festival fashion in 2015. This is the first official festival collab ever done in cooperation with Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. The selection includes both clothing and accessories for women and men. 

The Studio Collection is inspired by the easygoing lifestyle of Miami and Palm Springs. It's all about sleek but casual pyjama looks together with colorful print mixes and sports fashion influences. The color palette consists of faded pastels and light denim, "Miami-pink", peach, green, burgundy, navy blue and of course the alltime summer favorite, white. What comes to materials, silk, denim, and suede are the most dominating ones. 

To my own surprise and against my usual line of style, I was totally feeling all the hippie-ish Coachella-stuff and now I have this image in my head rocking to some good music in a warm summer night with my fringes swinging madly, ahahahh.

And omg, how about the swimwear?! MUST. Get. That. Black striped bikini.
